Anyone else having problems with the latest update for Safari?

I installed it the other day and it asked me to reboot, upon rebooting I was able to login fine but once at the "desktop" the top bar is invisible and I can only see shadows of the wireless / sound icons. My button bar on the bottom shows but I can not run any apps. Safari shows as a text file?

Is there anyway to uninstall the update? or force a reinstall incase something failed?

When I boot into "safe" mode "-x" The safari icon is correct but I still have the same problems

I'm having problem with Real Player. I know it doesn't seem connected but that's all I can think of.

After the safari 4.0.2 update Real Player doesn't play .rmvb files right.

no sound, and slow speed. I tried deleting the preference files but no avail.

The same Real Player 11 plays other types of files just fine.

I have no clue. Anyone has any idea?
