telir
I have an old PCV-RX650 that i would like to install Leopard on. Here are the specs: Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 1.60 GHz 1 GB PC-2100 DDR RAM 80 GB HDD with a 20 gb HFS+ partition 3D Fuzion GeForce FX5500 ASUS P4B266LM Not very good, I know. But I found a post by someone who got OSx86 10.4 working perfectly on the same comp. If 10.4 can work, then will 10.5? I have already downlaoded and installed iAtkos 5i 10.5.5, but when i try to boot leopard it only restarts. I've tried all the boot options like -v and cpus=1, but it still just reboots. I'm doing the default customize options, is that the problem? Or should i try another kernel like iDeneb or Kalyway? Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. MGJulius
If you are leaving the default customization options, then you will install the vanilla kernel, which you CANNOT use. Try selecting the voodoo 9.5 kernel in the options or another modded kernel, then it should work. BTW Kalyway and iDeneb are different distributions (or distros) not kernels.
