I added a USB>PS2 adapter to my mouse so both the keyboard and mouse use the same interface and that solved my mouse/keyboard problems. I think I'm gonna let it go now, too much issues to be using this OS on a day to day basis. But I at least satisfied my curiousity now and learned something along the way.
