frauckers Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 i updated the ATIRadeonX1000.kext driver to have my device id and put my resolution setting into info.plist. it says that QE and CI are both supported. i can run dvd's full screen no problem. but now i cant access my screensavers. for a short time after doing this i could go in and test them and they would run wonderfully (even tho they wouldnt play after the alloted time), but now when i even try to access the screensavers menu to pick on, the program crashes. i have a little bit of tearing, not bad, havent tried mousepose yet. is there anything i can do to get screensavers back? DJSpike Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 Hello, My screensaver is fully working and configurable with my ATI Gigabyte X1600, and everything works fine, the only problem that i encounter is that the password lock won't work. Moreover, if I logout, i can't login back anymore. About the tearing, i use Pinpoint which does great job, especially when i stop playing Doom 3, my mouse cursor disappears, until next reboot...
