" same curiosity - does Mac OSX x86 mount on say on Parallels Workstation -virtually. i've seen miniPE load smoothly as well as linux iso's, maybe you've got to convert the dmg image to iso by UltraIso or something. osx86 may be demanding on ram and other resources but has anyone tried ? majk
I tried to install the Intel patched OS X (10.4.6) which usually installs w/o any problems on my Acer but on VirtualPC 2004 I only get to boot the DVD and Darwin gets stuck in a few seconds. take a look at the pic. Since I have very little knowledge about Mac OS I just can't figure out what to do.. Perhaps someone smarter can find a solution... B.R. m. -TiLT-
It is not possible. Do not ask me why. Just ask yourself, why vmware is always mentioned as the virtual platform for OSX86. rxmd
Has anyone tried to run Mac OSX x86 on Microsoft's Virtual PC? Yes, I have, with 10.4.3 and 10.4.6. With both versions it crashes at the gray Apple screen.
