solidsteel144
I just got a Ibook G4 1 Ghz with 1.256 Gb of RAM. I was wondering if it would be decent enough to browse the web and listen to music on it. Would Leopard work fine on this machine? I know it's old but I always wanted one of these buggers. A Nonny Moose
The only major issue is that weird processor intensive things (like Final Cut) won't be extremely snappy. €ric
i put leopard on my ibook g4 and it runs very nicely , i use it for garageband (with my MIDI piano) and for the odd instant message and web browsing while im out of the house. other then garageband i dont ussually use it becuase i have a newer intel laptop at home. . any problems installing or anything, just message me. if you are planning to travel with your ibook running leopard.... remember the battery drains faster because leopard needs more power. message me if you have any questions about it... i am a pro with the ibook g4 running leopard. lol... i love my little ibooky ... teehee Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/173721-ibook-g4-decent-for-web-browsing/#findComment-1216262 Share on other sites
