mgxplyr
Alright, I just installed osx86 to my PC and got everything working, including nforce3 onboard ethernet w/ forcedeth and used the -x graphics mode to get into 1280x1024 resolution. I installed macvidia with the installer from their site, and added the 2 lines to the plist, and rebooted and everything, but I still get Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: nVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0332 Revision ID: 0x00a1 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported When the PC is booting up, it shows that it loads up the kexts and everything is successful, but it still doesn't allow me to change the resolution in the Display properties, and the only way I can get it to change is safe-mode, but once I get into safemode, I have to reload my forcedeth kexts to get the network up again. Please guys, if anyone knows what i'm doing wrong, help!!! riktor
you have to follow the manual installation instructions as well, the can be found on the Macvidia forums. Also I have noticed a trend in Nforce 3 boards not working even after instructions are followed, I could be wrong though. Just soemthing I've noticed.
