jessem
I'm running an Nforce 410 on an A8N-VM running 10.4.8 semthex. Sata 'works' with the hack mentioned above. I seem to be able to copy files off the drive fine (havent tried written, dont really care too). I've left tail running on the system log and the only issue i seem to have is on folders with alot of files. They always show up empty and i get this error. kernel[0]: ntfs_procfixups: magic doesn't match: 00000000 != 58444e49 and sometimes when im browsing i get the device blocking bus error. Not sure how to fix the folder issue, if i could it would be working enough for me (i only really want to read data off my windows drive). Also, i'm running the install off a PATA drive, so i don't know about actually installing osx to another SATA drive. We'll see what happens, anyone else get the folder thing? (i have a folder with about 150gigs of data under it) Just an added note, when i had stuffit manager open i started getting alot more of those errors, plus some new ones. Here they are.... kernel[0]: ntfs_loadntnode: BAD MFT RECORD 33713 kernel[0]: ntfs_findvattr: FAILED TO LOAD INO: 33713 not sure if stuffit was scanning the drives or whatever. As soon as i closed it the errors stopped. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17330-nforce-sata/page/5/#findComment-238319 Share on other sites
