elmersky
Hi, I have a big problem with software in my OS X. I can't install anything. I know that for PPC software is needed Rosetta, but there is no option in "Run with Rosetta". I have deadmoo's version of OS X. My question is what should I install, remove etc. (and how to do it) to have a possibility installing PPC software. P.S I have a Pentium 4 processor with SSE3. cstrippie
You need the original coregraphics file. The one in the deadmoo image is what's stopping your SSE3 function. The full instructions can be found here: Unpatch deadmoo's image Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1729-rosetta-problem/#findComment-11038 Share on other sites

sportman
Ok you need to take the deadmoo's oah750d that seems to crash the least Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1729-rosetta-problem/#findComment-14653 Share on other sites
cyrana
Also, just to clear up confusion. The option to run with Rosetta only shows up with universal binaries. A PPC one will have to run Rosetta, so there is no option. And an x86 binary doesn't need Rosetta, so no option. For me, the most stable setup is the original CoreGraphics, a removed AppleTPMACPI kext, and the oahd on deadmoo. Never crashes.
