Okay people, please no flames, I am in the middle of downloading Kalyway 10.5.2 in uTorrent on my freshly built PC, but I am drawn to the idea of easy updates from Apple if I install Retail OS X with Boot-132 and Chameleon.

I burned the generic Boot-132 ISO to a DVD, and it boots and I swap the OS X Disc with it, I get the Grey Apple Logo, Spinning Gears and then the Aurora Wallpaper with a SWOD.

I have an iMac (running Leopard 10.5.7) and I use that mainly, but I got my first virus on Windows so I put my foot down. I have flashed the BIOS to a patched/modified version, I have set the SATA as to AHCI, I have disabled SpeedStep, C1E and CPU TM Function. I have enabled Execute Disable too. But I still get to the Aurora Wallpaper and the SWOD. I know its something I am doing wrong, but I am at my wits end of trying to work it out.

My system:

Asus P5Q Pro

Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80 GhZ

2GB RAM

SATA DVD, HDD

Nvidia 9600GT 512MB

and everything else that I am assuming doesn't count

Please help me. I NEEEEEEEEEEEED OS X on my PC, I will have to give up Audiosurf, but I could use it on Windows if I figure out the Dual-Booting in the future. The good thing is, once I get sick of OSx86, I can reformat and install Windows 7 or something if I decide to give Windows a chance at pleasing me again.

Thankyou,

You can follow this topic (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=144020), it is about how to install leopard retail on p5q, p5q pro enz. First install iDeneb and than restore it using a retail disc, if you follow the topic, you will have a fully working mac on a pc (including software update). (I have also a P5Q PRO and I'am going to install it, after I finished the iDeneb download.)
