cerfew
I've read that when you start up GarageBand, it supposedly sets your audio settings to 6 channel 16 bit audio. Well my hardware (onboard Ac97 ATI IXP SB400) can't support that, therefore upon starting GarageBand, my whole system freezes and i have to hard reboot. How can i keep GarageBand from changing my audio settings to 6 channels? Edit: if i disable my onboard audio, i CAN get garageband to open (with no sound obviously.) maybe that will be more help?
