Hi All,

I install iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 on my Lenovo 3000 Y400.

everything work fine (except WLAN 3945BG ).

if i boot from DVD (use DVD kernel / Extensions.kext ) with rd=disk0s2, RTL8139 was detected and work perfectly.

but if i boot from harddisk ( 9.6 Vanilla / 9.2.0 sleep speedstep ) RTL8139 was NOT detected.

i extracted DVD's Extensions.mkext and diff AppleRTL8139Ethernet.kext with my current ApplyRTL8139Ethernet.kext and it's the same file.

How can i make my harddisk boot working like DVD boot?

Please help i need to use LAN since WIFI doesn't work.

Thanks,

PS, RTL1000 Patch (in CD) not work also.

Hi, were you able to get the lan working??

I've been searching all over the web, and still no connection.

My problem was that I updated the iDeben install on my hackintosh... and I lost my network...it only says network unplugged...

Any ideas??

You probably installed the incorrect driver. If it works while the DVD is install but not after the install that definitely means you picked the wrong one. Double check what hardware you have and make sure you have the correct driver.
