Installing Tiger on a Satellite A45-S151

Hello everyone,

 

I currently have Leopard (10.5.7) installed on my Toshiba laptop but unfortunately, due to my graphics card, am unable to get QE support. I have been successful with everything else (audio, network, etc...) I have been informed by members of this board and of members of the osx86 irc channel (Server: irc.macspeak.net Channel: #osx86 for those of you that don't know) that my graphics card may work with QE in 10.4.1 or in 10.4.11. I would like to install one of these versions. I was hoping, with all the knowledge on this forum, someone could tell me how successful I will likely be based on my hardware. The following is my computer's specs:

 

Toshiba Satellite A45-S151
Processor:  Mobile Intel Pentium 4 (2.80 GHz)
Memory:	512MB SDRAM
Storage:	Hitachi 100GB HDD
Disk Drive: Toshiba DVD-ROM (CD-R/RW)
Network:	Atheros AR5001X Wireless Network Adapter and PRO1100 Network Controller
Graphics:   Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller (0x35828086)
Audio:	   Soundmax Integrated Digital Audio (AD1981B)

 

My question to you all is, which version (if either) will give me QE support and will support my hardware the best? My prospects are xXx 10.4.11 and OS x86 10.4.Generic though I will obtain whichever version necessary to get my hardware to work properly.
