guiyoforward
Dear all, I have a new computer (Dell Inspiron 710m) and I am not sure if I should go for 10.4.4, .5 or .6. I know that the latest should always be the greatest in technology - I think the very first intel version still had many chunks running under Rosetta, etc. I am just wondering: is the available 10.4.6 still experimental, or does everything work? Is it safer to stick to .4 or .5? Is there a real cost in performance, besides a few minor security updates? Or is the only cost the difference in supported hardware? I would appreciate if someone can clarify this. I can port it to the wiki.
