Just to give a background, here are my specs & DVDs used: Computer Specs: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P Motherboard Intel Quad Core Q8200 Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 512 MB Realtek ALC889A Audio Driver Realtek 8111C Lan Driver WD Sata Hard Drive 640 GB Sata DVD-RW DVD Used for Hackintosh Install: iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 (Final) - this is the 4.3 GB version Here are the steps I did for the install: 1.) Insert DVD into my SATA DVD Drive 2.) Booted in -v mode in DVD 3.) I get the login screen... partitioned my HD into a 595 GB Mac Extended (Journal) and partition scheme named 'Leopard' 4.) For my FIRST installation. I just had the base system as shown in the picture: 5.) I left it and rebooted the computer after installation and it gives me this error message: or when I boot into my Hackintosh HD with -v mode I get the infamous "Still Waiting for Root Device Error" shown in: ----------------------------------------------------------------- I tried installing just the Voodoo kernel as shown in this picture, but still no luck. I still get the "Still Waiting for Root Device" error. Any ideas guys?
