xVariable
For the life of me I can't find it in the forums, and nothing useful comes-up in Google for the OS X port. xVariable
Awesome. For anyone looking for an external link, the file is being hosted, and that link was referenced in an earlier Forum post. Now, the follow-up: How do I configure it? System Preferences crashes when I click on Displays. EDIT: Having looked through the Radeon Tools package, it occurs to me that one or more plists might need to be edited, but I'm not sure if it's Radeon Tool's, the video driver's, or both. This'd be useful for a lot of people, so if anyone has knowledge to share please do (so that noone's installs are rendered bootable only in Safe Mode due to a mishack ). xVariable
Hm. So, I replaced the 5B60 in the Info.plist of the RadeonTool.kext, rebooted, and the display is not turning off. Also, the System Profiler says the kext isn't loaded. What's happening? Also, how do I specify the length of time before the display turns-off? xVariable
So, I figured-out that the kext's permissions were bad. In any case, it still doesn't work, but this thread is making progess.
