If anybody could help me out, since I need it urgently since mostly all the devices I use at my house are all through wireless, I need my wireless working back again

I have even tried Reintalling the same package of what i used to have it working &.. sip.. nada.. nothing.. still the same

Any form of way of Removing entirely that I ever had an Airport Wifi Driver installed previously on my 10.5.5???

I assume if I could manage to Erase to the setting.. of having a blank slate not ever having an Airport driver never installed... I could reinstall my package and it should work again

well.. etc..

Miy installation is an iAtkos 5i (10.5.5)

Acer Aspire 3680 - T5500 Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66Ghz/1.67Ghz

Atheros 5005g Wireless Driver for OSX: http://www.zshare.net/download/614368356c86d9ee/

Help plzz I hope some one is so kind to help m out on my Issue, for Returning to clean slate the *Airport Wifi..

I literally have everything working: Wifi(not anymore, till today), Ethernet Lan, 950gma, Bluetooth, Sounds(Speakers, Headphones, Mic), Keyboard(Fn), Mouse(touchpad), Battery Status, Reading 2 Cores & 1 Processor, just about the whole Machine.

Apps already running: Adobe Master Collection CS4, iWork 09, iLife 09, Microsoft Office 08, Reason, Cubase, Pro Tools (Altered to read/install 10.5.6 software) :(

*BUMP*

I still need a help to fix my odd Airport WIFI issue

"No Airport Card Installed"

It always worked perfectly on all OSX installs i've done 10.5.5, 10.5.6 & 10.5.7

Now, its simply not recognized, not even on a freshly new 10.5.5 install

Any Diagnostic Tool to test in OSX ???

I'm going to test over on Ubuntu Live CD to see if the wireless is still alive or dead

I'm certain its still alive since the *Wifi light is always ON on the laptop.. but WTE.. gonna (linux) test & post in a bit

I went to the extreme on testings

It appears somehow between these days wireless hardware simply went dead on me =(

Tested:

Windows 7 Ultimate 7127 x64 - not detected

Windows Vista Ultimate x64 - not detected

Windows XP Pro x64 - not detected with driver

Windows XP Pro x86 - not detected with driver

Ubuntu 9.04 - not detected

Ubuntu 8.10 - not detected

Mint 7 - not detected

Just with all that as well as OSX drivers concludes my Device simply died this week

Resolution untill device replacement: Netgear WG111v2 USB Wireless - working 100% on all OSX(netgear website leo driver), Windoze & Linux Distros

Thnx for the post man! That atheros driver you posted made both my atheros and broadcom 440 available in the System prefs>Network util. Now I can ditch the usb->ethernet again :)

You're welcome

I wish my onboard wifi hardware wouldn't had gone dead to keep using it :P

it seems my laptop is on large amounts of crack, suddenly I connected the extra usb wifi... and all the sudden it popped up detected a new wireless device on airport... my internal onboard Atheros =)

so yeah its back alive, no clue how it happened but yeah its back, I even retested on linux live cd and it also got detected =D woot woot!

guessing pretty sure it will fail again soon(won't bother me)... good sake i have the usb wifi for safety, if it does fail
