cheater99
Ok, i installed iPC following this guide and it is all up and running (though im booting with cpus=1 -v for the time being). I've tried googling my problem but not much comes up (maybe i'm searching the wrong thing?) Specs: MSI P7N-SLI Fi (the basic one, found here) Intel Q6600 Quad Core @ 2.4ghz nVidia 8800gt (with 1gb memory) Realtek® RTL8211BL Network (on the motherboard apparantly) I now have a problem with networking. In networking diagnostics, on automatic setup it fails ISP, Internet and Server. If i manually set it up, it only fails Internet and Server and everything else has green lights but my internet connection is still not working. I'm on a p7n-sli fi which has a Realtek® RTL8211BL although i doubt this is a hardware problem. I know my network cable and router/internet are working because when i reboot into windows or linux, everything is working fine. It's quite annoying seeing as i cant grab drivers while i have no internet... Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance. justsome
Although I don't know the answer to your network problem, you can install the "single core" patch from the iPC dvd as fix for the boot options. Beerkex'd
Or you can use the Chameleon 2.0 RC1 bootloader with a DSDT.aml with removed CPU aliases, and have both cores working.
