Thanks I'm not sure about your particular device ID but I know that, for my Intel chipset, I modified AppleIntel830.kext and AppleIntelIntegratedGraphics.kext to reflect your device ID. I modified some files for you and attached them. They are drivers to reflect your specific device ID. Put them in your /System/Library/Extensions folder and remove all of the other AppleIntel*.kext files. After you've moved them there open a terminal and type: sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext sudo diskutil repairpermissions / Then reboot and try it out. You should be set at native resolution. I have a similar issue, cant change default resolution & no Kext loaded. Not sure what GMA model mine is though... You can try the GMA 950 kexts from the HP mini package in this site: www.osxhpmini.info P.S. The GMA950 kext is different for the 10.5.5 and the 10.5.6 + versions. P.P.S Install only the GMA950, IntegratedFramebuffer, Natit and ClamshellDisplay kexts. I edited the files to match my device id and when I boot a no smoking sign appears without the cigarette and if I boot verbose (-v) it hangs on "waiting on root device" or something of the sort. using iDeneb 10.5.5 on dell dimension 4600, Pentium 4 2.8 GHz, Intel 82865G onboard graphics. The screen colors render improperly, making it hard to read and almost everything just appears grey, except boot screen, and bootloader/verbose screens Edit: I only edited the device ID, If I need to change the Revision number let me know and how to do it. and if you want to make it then this is the info from the System Profiler.
