I have some Questions, i can't find in the forum. 1. i set up a second partition in Windows with partition magic. ok 2. i insert the 10.4.6 install dvd, boot from it, and create a hfs+ journaled. ok 3. i install mac os x. ok 4. i boot again in windows and change the boot.ini so that i can choose between osx and windows. what must i do? change the boot.ini with this C:\chain0="MacOS X" ? Mebster Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 I don't think the file was called chain0.txt. It's boot.ini where you have entered the chain0 line. It seems you have completed all that is required as far as i can tell. Hope it all works.
