Wolfs
I have grabbed myself a copy of the Kalyway 10.5.2 Install DVD, Burned it at the Slowest Possible speed, And rebooted my PC. The DVD Loads and when it is ready I press F8 to enter start up options, where I type -v. It loads the kernel and starts loading HFS+ files, and after about 3 files, The screen goes blank as if it were to enter the graphics console, and the PC just reboots. I have tried the install DVD on other PCs and It loads the Mac installer, So I know the Disk is working as it should. I have also tried Leo4all v3 installer DVD and have the same Issue. I have checked my hardware and it should be compatible, but I have noticed that some people have problems with Nvidia graphics cards. My Current Config: ASUS M3A78 Motherboard AMD Phenom 8650 Triple core processor MSI Nvidia GeForce N9600 GT OC edition 4 GB DDR2 800 Can anyone help? dr.vox
Can't help you with your main problem, but I can assure you the 9600GT will fine as it is defaulted to 1024x768 like all other graphics cards. Should boot fine, so isn't related to your problem. You can use nVdarwin 1.2.5 (I think that's the one) to enable its max res and QE/CI.
