Lenovo 300 Y410 Help with audio and Wifi?

I have given a lot of help to the community over the years, and would love if someone can tell me how to get wifi and sound working for this. I found another post with the same model used the hda patcher and dump but it didnt work. any ideas? i have no wifi either =/

Remember to repair permissions after installing the kernel extensions with Disk Utility.

 

As far as wifi, my guess is you have the Intel 3945 / 4965 card. You can't replace it with something Broadcom-based (which would be what is recognized in Airport) due to a BIOS lock. If you try installing something other than the Lenovo-branded card, you'll get a "miniPCI card is not compatible" error message.

 

Your options are to get a Ralink-based USB Wi-fi adapter (Belkin-branded, usually), or you'll have to wait for a release from Project Camphor.
