mardurhack
Hi all! I've installed successfully iPC 10.5.6 (updated 10.5.7) with all working kexts: graphic, sound, network...EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY...But...I cannot stand Flash-based content's performances! Videos are not as smooth as in Windows (and I can understand it...) but they are at least watchable (even Megavideo is not the smoothest but it allows me to watch some good video). I tried Flash 8 (where available), 9 (release 151,159) and 10 (last release). But HD videos (on youtube for example, in normal or full screen is the same thing) and some flashbased software (like prezi.com or friv.com) are really UNUSABLE! I'm talking about using a browser, obiouvsly. I tried Firefox and Safari. CPU is busy, AT LEAST, at 75% (SEVENTYFIVE PERCENT!) to play a NORMAL VIDEO! NOT EVEN FULLSCREEN, NOT EVEN HD, JUST A NORMAL YOUTUBE VIDEO! Now I'm wondering...Is this normal? Or I've made a mistake installing those modded kext (for 2a12 models)? Maybe is Flash that is not so "mature" for Mac? I've read somewhere about this but I'd never think the situation could be so DESPERATE! If someone owns a Macbook with X3100 would you bother if I ask you to try if Flash's performances are so crappy? Please...
