hannerii Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 Hi everyone, I am still fairly new the to Hackint0sh project so please bear with me. I have an Asus P5LD2 R2 mobo, 2xsata hdd, sata dvd burner, usb keyboard/mouse, core 2 duo processor and an eVGA nVidia 8xxx 512mb video card. I have no problem installing and running the Kalayway DVD with the vanilla kernel. I have been trying to make a boot-132 cd for the past 12 hours and have yet to have any luck. I have tried many different kexts in the initrd.img file with no results. The furthest i get is the grey Apple logo and everything freezes. Can someone point me in the right direction? Btw, I have tried both with and without the jmicron files posted on the first post. I have exhausted google search and have found no help there either.
