I love when people answer common asked question by redirecting to a link where all the info is (not sarcasm) but this page is friggen out dated... the whole osx86 wiki and osx86 database are old and tons of the new components are missing... so this page is pretty useless now, and that's probably why he's asking on the forums. If at least you linked to more up to date forum thread... anyway.. that's not your job.

etereo21: I suggest you search the forum for other threads about the same topic.. I'm sure there are plenty. I'm not as kind as Synaesthesia tho, I won't give you a link.

Good luck.

I just look at what Apple is offering recent past and presently. Those will be the easiest ones to get running.

ATI x1600, x1900xt, 3870 (?), 4870, Nvidia, 7300gt, 7600gt, 8600gt, 8800gt, 120, 130, now the 285gtx (yeah!)

There are a bunch that Apple hasn't directly supported. For those I'd search the forums, too many to list.

If you know of newer cards that work, add them to the HCL wiki. I don't mean to sound like I'm singling you out, but I don't understand this griping about the HCL, when it's up to all of us to update the HCL ourselves.

If you go to the HOME link there, you'll see that there's HCL lists for every OS revision, right up to the current 10.5.7. If one searches through ALL the listings (say, since the 10.5.2 list) you'll find it's actually as a whole fairly up to date. If more people would contribute, the blanks that remain could easily be filled in no time.

The OP asked for a list of working cards. The HCL lists in total are about as complete a list as anyone's going to get. Noobs can blame users who set up thier stuff but DON'T update the wiki with their findings for any omissions. And also, it's not that hard for people to do a little bit of research on their own, before asking the same question for the 10,000,000th time. All sorts of working graphic cards are listed in the threads here.
