Nevertomorrow Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 I installed the 10.5.7 update and after restarting i can see that my usb ports don't work and my wifi light doesn't show (although wifi works) and i onyl have 1 core insted of my 2 cores, I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 AKA E1505 dual core. Hope you can help thanks. P.S. Last time a update come out i updated the kernel but this time i can't find one to update... Oh and btw i have the ipc version of cracked mac installed. iEax3D Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 there a package called "iDeneb Upgrade KIT rev 1" that contains iosubfamily.kext usb fix also i did the same have ipc 10.5.6 and upgrade to 10.5.7 i was searching how in the world fix the usb port the two things i did was install the upgrade kit installed the kernel 9.0.5 the rev 1.a from http://code.google.com/p/xnu-dev/ rev 1.0A then i reinstalled the seatbelt.kext and all back 2 normal again usb works again. Gman Mini Posted July 14, 2009 Share Posted July 14, 2009 Any word on the Dual Core, I am running a Latitude D620, under 10.5.6 dual core was enabled with the Dell Post Installer 1.4 now I guess the kernel isn't supported or patched?
