hello

i had a dell 1390 in my acer (originally had 4965 intel not osx friendly)

according to my ddwrt router the 1390 got a consistent 56% range to my wifi at the kitchen table (about 20ft away through the wall to the router)

in comparison my ibook g4 at the same spot gets in the 30% range

i bought a bcm94321mc apple airport card because i wanted 802.11n

anyway its range at the same location was between 6-12%

it is so weak it cant connect to the routers web gui let alone the internet

and i double checked the antenna connectors are properly

any idea why it wont work properly?

Hey,

I have the same kind of connection problem too. I'm using a genuine Apple broadcom wifi n card (same chipset as the dell) in a laptop, and the reception is very bad too.

In example, my other computers (Mac/Hack/Pc) receive the signal just fine where this card don't. I've thought about connection too, but swapping to another wifi card fixed the problem (in the same place/computer).
