trickedout
I have tried to install 10.5.6 multiples times and have failed miserably. I have searched all of the forums and have not figured out how to fix my situation. Please take a look at my specs and let me know what I need to do to get this running properly: Asus P4c800-E Deluxe Pentium 4 3.2Ghz HT Intel Pro/1000 CT Network Card Radeon 9800 XT SB Audio Card Two SATA 120GB Hard Drives DVD Rom DVD-RW 2GB Ram I have installed Windows XP Sp3 on my first hard drive and want OSX on my Second. I want to be able to boot into either hard drive. I would love to be able to have a choice of OS without having to go to the bios and choosing the hard drive to boot into. Please give me step by step instructions to do this. I have iPC, iAtkos, IDeneb versions so which ever one you know will work please let me know... smidge
i got iAtkos 10.5.5 working on the above motherboard, im not enough of an expert to know how to dual boot in any method that is more tricky than just choosing which disk it loads from in the bios also i think it failed on me because of my IDE DVD drive, a SATA one cured the problem i just messed with the settings in the iatkos installer till it worked, the Voodoo kernel was the one i used sorry cant be more specific it was my first one so i just kept trying and didnt keep a log like i did with my new one to be honest the performance wasn't brilliant so i custom built a core 2 duo box which works much better Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168995-problem-installing-1056-asus-p4c800-e-deluxe/#findComment-1168566 Share on other sites
