Jas 10.4.6 Asus P5LD2-VM (some minor problems please help me)

Hello,

 

i bought an Asus P5LD2-VM instead of my old Asrock Ati Xpress one. Now i got osx up and running but there are some things which need to be fixed but i haven´t found an solution so far.

 

a) there is only 1024*768, neither i can select the refreshrate nor the resolution

onboard sound isn´t working

c) another "problem", when i click about this mac --> more info-->hardware--> it says "There was an error while gathering this information." instead of the cpu information

 

i have read that i need some files from older releases but i have none, i also tried to modify the startup file or how it is called but it only resulted in a black screen upon my next reboot

 

Please don´t tell me that i only have to read more or search better, i already have !! I am interested in solutions not in days of trial and error

PS: I am currently writing this Post at my nearly finished mac, it´s realy great and very fast apart those little problems which i hopefuly can fix with the help from you nice guys

so Please help me, the last time i tried to get my onboard sound working i ended up with a frozen blue mac screen...

another problem, how do i know if dual core is working or not ?
