Hi guys,

my mac os x works great, but I somehow managed to screw up the windows from starting up (although the data is still there), so I can't get to dxdiag in order to check my vendor and device id. does anyone know the soundmax device & vendor ID for the Asus P4P800 mobo? It's quite a popular mobo, I'm sure some of you have it. Any help would be appriciated! :)

Thanks

It works!

Thanks for all the help guys!!

Although it did take me some time to understand you MUST copy the kext file from the darwin 8.01 DVD (it does NOT exist on my bender12 DVD).

Thanks again.

Hi. Did you get the MIC in working?

My sound appeared to work straight after installation (dding Deadmoo) but then I realised it was just the Line Out. MIC in has never worked.

Any ideas..?
