brandl
Well guys, I have a notebook Clevo M520N that is originally equipped with wifi minipci-e RTL8187L. Then, after install ideneb 10.5.6 (wifi works fine just on WPA, but not with WPA2) i was looking for a wifi card that could work 100% as an native Mac OS x wifi card and then, i bought on ebay this mini pci-e Atheros AR5BXB6 (apple original wifi card). So, when install it on my notebook, it just can´t boot at all. even bios.. nothing! I did try another card, BROADCOM 4311... SAME problem... NOTHING! i heard that this cards could be in "black list" and my notebook might not support it... what should i do? brandl
i´ve found something that could explain it.. when i removed the aluminium cover, i saw 2 burned chips... so, this is kind a hope to me because i don´t think that happened into my notebook because if did, should the minipci-e work anynore right? but i did swap back to the original one (RTL8187L) and everything is fine with no sign of damage or anything else... i´ll try contact the seller to send me another one.. what do you guys think?
