It seems they have pretty good bang for the buck, and it's all installed for you. Any reason why not?

$1,200 for that is laughable, that's why not.

 

That's maybe $700 worth of parts at best.

 

For $1,200 one can now build a decent i7 system.

 

I agree with Zaap!

I just make my own OpenPro with an Q6600, case, PSU, Graphics ans so on with a new 22" LG screen for less than 900 euro.

I'm running at 3,6GHz, 1.4125 V FSB400... It rocks I love it.

Is there a standard known-good "kit" of parts for an i7 system on here and install instructions?
