Knotti Posted May 5, 2006 Share Posted May 5, 2006 Hello people, at first sorry my english is realy bad. I get an Iso File named MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL_AMD_SSE3_SSE2).iso 4,7GB... I burn it to DVD an like to install it on my system. DVD started coose German and format my hdd with 1 partiton Macintosh Extended with Jornaled. After that i choos packges to install... I select all packages an in the selection Patches i coose Intel Base Patch and Intel SSE3 Patch not AMD an no SSE 2 and no SATA Patch... The installation goes on with ne error (no error in logfile too) after that the pc want to restart but it hanged up i only get an busy mouse sign... no reaction i reset.. Boot from HDD an get the gray apple screen with many text the last passage i could read was dopple kernel panic and darwin 8.5.*** Date and so on... What could i do... Kernel panic after install no reason? My System: Intel P4 Prescott 3000MHZ Gigabyte Motherboard Intel Springdale i865PE 1024 GB Ram Dual-DDR AGP 8x Radeon 9800 265MB HDD Seagate 10GB LG DVD Reader LAN: Marvell LAN MB is an 8IPE1000 with HT enabled... Bevor you begin No Keyboard connected to you computer Please connect it now ! USB mouse works But i didnt have an USB Keyboard in the office i have for my laptop an USB -> 2* Ps/2 connector..
