Jens K
Hi guys, I've got a problem. I've installed iDeneb 10.5.7 for a while on my hard drive, but I forgot to make a partition for Windows. At the moment I only have 1 partition, my OSX partition. To make a short story shorter: I have OSX on 1 partition and I want to make a extra NTFS partition for Windows. How can I do that? Thanks! Jens K
Try booting from the Leopard cd and running disk utility from the installer Thanks for the repy. And when in the Disk Utility, then what? Can you create a smaller partition from a existing one without erasing all of my data? shavex
You should be able to resize it (i dont know if you can do that from Disk Utility cuz i normally use GParted for all my partitioning) and as long as you arent resizing it to less than or close to the amount of data you have then you should be good. Also did you originally format it as MBR or GUID?
