mattio93
Hi all, I currently have a PC with the following specs below and I am looking to build a hackintosh PC. I want to upgrade some parts but do you think I should upgrade the one I have now, or build a brand new one? My current spec is: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13ghz 2gb DDR2 RAM 320gb HD GeForce 7600GT MSI-7235 P65 Neo motherboard What would be the best spec to buy for a price range of around £400 for a video editing machine? I'll definitely want to upgrade my RAM for sure. I need the following applications to run efficiently. These include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Studio and Apple Shake 4.1 It is a must that shake works, does anyone else run shake on there hackintosh? If anyone can help me I'd be very greatful. Will Shake work on a hackintosh well? What would be good to upgrade or what is a good machine that runs well which I can get for £400? Thanks, Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166653-need-to-build-a-video-editing-hackintosh-shake-41/ Share on other sites

Thanks, Matt I'm not sure about this, but if you do software updates from Finder, elave out the Pro Applications Update - otherwise apps like FCS or Shake won't start anymore (could somebody proof that, I'm not sure about it). :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166653-need-to-build-a-video-editing-hackintosh-shake-41/#findComment-1159699 Share on other sites
