mjwmzgywwvylv
Anybody here encounter an issue with trying to mount .dmg files? After i download them with safari, it proceeds to mount and says mounting failed. If i double click to, to get it to mount, A Warning box pops up saying "The Following Disk Image Failed to Mount" with the reason "Device Not Configured" I can get it to mount only after i execute these two commands. I have to do this every time i reboot and usually if i haven't mounted anything in awhile. sudo kextunload -c com.apple.AppleDiskImageController sudo kextload -b com.apple.AppleDiskImageController I'm using ASRock 939DUAL-SATA2 AMD Opteron 146 SSE3 80gb IDE under USB2 Nvidia 6800le AGP Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16661-dmg-mounting-issue-with-jas-1046/ Share on other sites

jan_187
Sorry for the bump, but I have this problem too. I cant mount .dmg's and thanks to this thread I found out that I could after doing those commands. Is there any fix for this? Or a way to make these commands automaticly done at startup? EDIT: Fixed after installing 10.4.7 (JaS), I also installed maxxus's AMD_enable to make installers not hang. Im using 10.4.6 (JaS) on AMD64 3000+ (with SSE2, without SSE3). I have an MSI K8t neo FSR 6702 motherboard. I also experience Safari crashing quiet a lot, especially on flashsites. It seems my usb isnt working. I spoke today in IRC with someone with the same motherboard who has the same problem, did you find a solution already? EDIT: USB working after installing the 10.4.7 driver from apple devsite. Safari not crashing after installing Flash 9. Another question is about the vidcard, I have a Nvidia 6800LE and I would like to play quake3 on mac (doesnt have to be high fps, just want to be able to start it). I installed the macvidia, but that doesnt support 3d yet. I get a black screen and then quake3 shuts down when trying to run it. Which vidcards will enable me to play quake3? I read in the forums and found the 1600XT and the 9600. Is there any others (less expensive ones??)? Anyway, my main question is about the .dmg's Edit: Rammjet, yes on some forums people dislike it when you start posting in old threads again. Rammjet
Sorry for the bump Considering the last posting was 5 months and 3 days ago, I guess a bump is OK.
