ELECTRObounce
Hi, I'm trying to get QE/CI on my ASUS NVIDIA 7300LE 128mb graphics card in Mac OS X Retail 10.5.7. If I use an EFI string for my card, I get a black screen on boot with a cursor and If I use NVinject and change the IOProbeScore to 0, then I also get a black screen on boot with a cursor. I'm currently using NVinject with the IOProbeScore at 60000 which is default and I have full resolution etc but no QE/CI. I used iATKOS before today and I got QE/CI working fine etc using an EFI string, but It wont work on Mac OS X Retail.. can anyone help? ELECTRObounce
Extra sorry to bump; call me a noob or what ever, but I'm still trying to figure out why Retail doesn't want my EFI string or the IOProbeScore set to 0 in NVinject, yet iATKOS will take it... Black screen, cursor and spinny pinwheel :S Surely not right? Beerkex'd
iATKOS comes with many modifications that retail doesn't. It makes it difficult to track down this kind of thing. iATKOS probably have different probescore values in other places than retail has. Try another injector. Remove NVInject from the extensions folder and try CoreVidia 1.1, just updated. http://osx86tuga.com/index.php?showtopic=55 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166563-retail-and-nvidia-7300le/#findComment-1158600 Share on other sites

I've tried EFI string, other injectors etc, but they give me a Black screen and the little cursor in the left with another spinny pinwheel cursor Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166563-retail-and-nvidia-7300le/#findComment-1159034 Share on other sites
