Okey, here is my problem:

I have a HP G5009 laptop. I have installed Leopard with the iPC disc, and everything works great. Exept from one thing, my wireless network card. I have tried a lot of kext´s and guides, but nothing works. It kinda drives me crazy :P

The ethernet is working (I am actually writing this on my mac/pc right now).

The card is a Broadcom 4311

802.11 b/g

If anyone could help me, I would be very pleased! :(

you shouldnt have had to do anything ot get it to work.

go to Sys prefs, then software update. get the airport update and this should allow it to be used.

I have donned that, but I havent updated the system to 10.5.7 yet... I can try to do it, and report back =)

im on 10.5.6 right now, popped in my BCM 4311 and it worked fine right away.

should be no need for 10.5.7, the drivers for this card are native to apple. make sure the wireless card is switched on. boot to windows first to verify as well. your using the exact same card i have. and it just works to be plain and simple.

boot with -v see if there are any messages that are errors when ur starting osx. thats a start as well

if all fails try this out http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51725
