limini Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 I'm using an MS intellimouse and the pref pane for the mouse doesn't have ANY customization options for the buttons. You only get this if you use an Apple mouse, or a 3rd party pref pane, but I don't want to install a multi-megabyte mouse driver just to change a button function. I NEED to get rid of the Widgets opening when I accidentally push my scroll button (which happens MUCH too often...), but I don't have any options for this. It's the only thing I need to do. There must be a Kext I can directly modify to get the behavior I want. Does anyone know which and where? There are sharewares for $20 but I think that's a bit steep just to change what will end up being ONE byte of code... Thanks!!!!
