soynutz7
Hey All, Anyone have any luck getting ANYTHING to boot from a USB drive. I just recently bought the EEE PC 1000HE. I've been following some basic "boot from usb" tutorials but it doesn't seem to work. i tried this method, just to see if it even start to boot form a usb, but it goes straight into windows. What am i missing. I've changed the boot priority in the bios to removable device. also tried this with a Jas distro. still no go. http://www.insanelymac.com/2009/02/make-bo...aller-yourself/ Do i have to use an external DVD drive? or am i missing something simple. thanks in advance. hryamzik
I've had just a quick look on your post, but may be that link could help you. I've installed leo from original image on my 901 without any cd-dvd drives at all, just a flash and 2 usb hdds.
