Hi. I'm running leo installed from original retail dvd on my eeepc 901. It is up to date and everything seems to be ok but I have a funny problem.

Leo is installed to a usb hdd due to small disk space on slow speed of internal solid storage. So When I put my laptop to sleep it doesn't stop the external hd so I could not unplug it.

I remember my PowerBook sleeps ok on an external firewire drive when booted from it. Right from the box...

Could it be done in the same way with usb drive? What's the problem? I've tried a deep sleep widget, tried changing hibernation options. No luck...

I'm really missing deep sleep working, it takes quit a long time to start and stop eee every time I have to change my location.

And I have a sub-question: are the HDD heads parked when eee is in sleep mode? If so, I could try transporting it plugged to a laptop...
