Hi,

Just wondering what the easiest way to remove a kext file is? Looking to get the audio to work on my Mini 700 and the guide I'm following says to remove AppleHDA.kext and use the VoodooHDA, but trying to delete AppleHDA gives me a an error saying one or more of the processes could not be completed.

Thanks,

Mark.

you probably cannot remove the kext because its loaded, so i think that you have to go into terminal and unload it there before removing it

or boot into single user mode and then remove it, also remove the extensions.mkext after that!!!
