Antonio92
I'm trying to install OSx86 from IPC 10.5.6 DVD. It says it installs 9.6.0 vanilla kernel by default, but if I only choose drivers (lan, graphics, sound, ICHx chipset...) and i don't choose any kernel (so I suppose it installs 9.6.0), when finishes installing, and when I boot, Apple logo shows up (typical boot screen) but after a second it restarts. I have read something about "if choosing 9.5.0, its not necessary to choose any binary patching option", so I think I'm missing something about "binary patching option". What should I do? My specs: Asus P5L-1394 motherboard (Intel 945P ICH7 chipset) Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40 GHz 4 GB RAM nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS (320 MB VRAM) Realtek ALC883 onboard sound card Realtek 8139 ethernet (PCI) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/164602-some-help-with-ipc-1056-installation/ Share on other sites

p4p4gaio
Antonio, first if you really want to know whats happening you need to boot in verbose mode (-v) , first do that and paste the result of the error here, with the error cause is easier to help you. are you from brazil?
