Frustrated That Boot132 Isn't Working For Me - I Would Like A Vanilla Install

Here is my hardware:

Gigabyte EP35-DS3L Bios F5 Mobo Rev 1.0

Intel E4600 2.4GHz / 2MB L2

2GB (2x1GB) Mushkin EM2-6400 800MHz DDR RAM

500GB Seagate 7200.11 32MB SATA HD

Pioneer DVR-215 SATA DVD-RW

ATI Radeon 2600XT 256MB PCIe

I want to get my setup going so that it is able to be updated via Software Update and there's no fuss or anything later, as it is for my parents, and they don't have an ounce of computer skills in them, aside from checking email and surfing the net.

I can't for the life of me get Boot132 to work with this config. Even after using Weaksauce's Boot132 disc from his/her DS3L kit. It loads my Leopard Retail disc, but gives me the 'Ghostbusters No Sign' once it loads the disc. Going verbose mode, it just says 'waiting for root device.' As well, the only times I can get it to boot from the Boot132 disc is if I jam on F12 while the machine is booting up and selecting CDROM or PioneerDVR215.

I currently have it running as Kalyway 10.5.2 -> Kalyway 10.5.3 -> Delta 10.5.4, but I'd like to have a 'clean vanilla setup.'

I do have a spare SATA drive sitting around so if there is a way I can install OS X from my current Kalyway install to the other HD, that'd work too, as long as the install is vanilla.

Any help/suggestions, or another link/post I could gander over so I could get this up and running?

Thanks a bunch.
