Nate H Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 I had the 630i version of the same board. It has a lot incompatibilities. The Ethernet driver can work. The video will not have hardware acceleration. I couldn't get the audio to work, ended up going with a usb audio interface. I wanted to go mini-itx to build a media center machine. I tried to put a quad-core q6600 into a mini-itx case and it just wasn't happy. If you want to go dual core or something like that, it might work out else, I would say, these boards don't run osx all that well. With the nvidia chipset, I had to go with a distro that supported. I ended up getting ipc osx86 to work though was having heat issues due to the small form factor and driver issues with sound and video. I would not recommend it. I think they're the same except for the probably ata controller? do you have that? if so I think you could use the original jmicronata.. without mods.
