esmith1977 Posted April 30, 2006 Share Posted April 30, 2006 I have installed 10.4.4, 10.4.5 before... However with 10.4.6 using the JAS DVD, I get a flashing "_" when I reboot after install. I can get it to boot be putting the DVD back in and then taking it out when Darwin boots, But I don't want to do that all the time. I had heard that there is/was a Disk Utility issue, but cannot see how that has been addressed. How does one install to a blank hard drive. I have an Intel 945gnt board with a Pentium D processor... my older HD's will boot in this machine...
