shivers Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 Hi there, at first i have to explain that i have completely the same desktop at home and at work, a samsung 22" tft, logitech g5 mouse, logitech flat keyboard. i'm working with a G5 PPC original Macintosh and at home i now have osx installed on my quad 9400, everything working except (unneeded) sleep / reboot. but although i have the same input devices and the same monitor it just does not feel like real at home. i'm confused. is something in the mac look and feel that can't be "managed" on my pc? i'm curious about your opinions and thoughts. chris Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/163352-just-not-the-real-feeling/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
hecker Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 That is absolutely psychological. How can someone even begin to understand what you mean by "feeling real"? If by real you mean speed, then yes, it might feel slower if, for example, your video card has not been correctly installed/configured at home.
