I installed retail 10.5.4 using this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86167 Then updated to 10.5.6. I have core2duo e8400, GA-EP35-DS3P motherboard, 8Gb RAM, 9800GTX video (installed with efi strings). Now some times my system locks up completely. Mouse, keyboard, video stop working. It happens during looking flash rich sites or 3d games (like HoMM5). It happens on gametrailers.com (if video is in flash), 2advanced.com, but not on youtube.com (even if I watch HD video). In games I can play for 2 minutes or 30 minutes. Time always differs. Freezes look like the ones from overheating, but after computer restart I see in BIOS 40-45C, so CPU is not that hot. May be its too weak?E8400, 9800GT, 4HDD your power consumation is approx 377watts, if it is your psu then your system should be crashing on every intensive task does your system mostly crashes on graphics intense situations?
