starpenguin Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 Hey guys, I'm trying to install OSX on my system: AMD Athlon 6400+ ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe WE I have tried several different install discs but I can't seem to get it to work properly. I finally remedied the 'Still waiting for root device' error by using an IDE drive and then installing a IDE DVD drive as slave, rather than using my sata disks and drive. It completes the install, but when I try to boot, it simply sits with a blinking _ cursor and doesn't do anything. Any suggestions for how to continue?
