And its always Sector number 64 I ran all sorts of disk tests and the hard drive checks out ok.....So I am stumped and was hoping for help here here are the details: 10.4.6 JaS Install DVD AMD Patcher ran after install AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe Netgear 311 network card XFX GeForce 7800GT 256mb 160 GB Maxtor ATA Hard Drive (Primary Windows Drive Channel Master IDE0) 20gb WD hard Drive (Primary Linux Drive Channel Slave IDE0) Lite On DVD Burner (Master IDE1) 40gb ATA Hard Drive (Mac OSX DriveSlave IDE1) Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Logitech Access Wireless keyboard MX500 Mouse Antec 550 True Power 2.0 PSU Another Weird thing is that it always seems to boot in verbose mode even with a fresh install and without using the option.
